Jay Neiswinter, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Jay Neiswinter, PT, DPT, is a highly skilled physical therapist providing comprehensive one-on-one treatment for musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries. Before opening his own practice, Dr. Neiswinter served as the director of physical therapy at Keating Physical Therapy in Cranford, New Jersey, and as the director of the outpatient orthopedic clinic at SportsCare Institute in Morristown, New Jersey.
Dr. Neiswinter has also completed numerous professional development courses to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and treatments in physical therapy. He is passionate about diagnosing and treating sports-related injuries and complex conditions using the hands-on treatment techniques and patient-specific exercises. He has completed coursework to receive his Dry Needling certification as approved by the state of NJ.
Dr. Neiswinter earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut. He completed his physical therapy internships at a variety of locations, including Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.
At Individual Physical Therapy, Dr. Neiswinter offers a variety of treatment options to address issues like herniated discs, arthritis, acute and chronic pain, and joint pathologies in addition to pre- and post-natal care and balance issues. He values the one-on-one approach to patient care, spending quality time with each patient individually and creating customized treatment plans for each individual patient.
Dr. Neiswinter is proud to work alongside his wife, Kate and the highly skilled team of physical therapists. Together they offer comprehensive, compassionate care with the goals of providing long-term pain relief, improving overall health, and returning patients to their highest level of function.
Kate Neiswinter, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Kate Neiswinter, PT, DPT, is an accomplished physical therapist who works with patients experiencing musculoskeletal and neuromuscular injuries and issues. While assisting her husband Jay in opening this practice, Kate worked at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute (JRI) in Edison, New Jersey for 10 years as a staff therapist and supervisor.
Kate earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science Studies and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Kate has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since college. She frequently takes offered coursework and webinars to stay involved with new research, noting a special interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues, and business and insurance-related changes to physical therapy and healthcare.
During her career, Kate has worked closely with individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, stroke, acute and chronic neck and back pain, and post-operative joint conditions. Kate recognizes the importance of one-on-one treatment in a patient’s care and the impact the increased attention can have on a patient’s physical health and mental well-being. Kate has earned her certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute. Recently Kate also earned her Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coaching Certification to assist patients in managing their fitness during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys.
At Individual Physical Therapy, Kate is proud to work alongside her husband, Jay Neiswinter, PT, DPT. As a team, Kate and Jay offer one-on-one treatment with treatment plans customized to each patient. Offering compassionate and effective treatment, they work with patients to improve overall health by assisting in long-term pain relief and return patients to desired levels of function.
Molly Ripp, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Molly Ripp PT, DPT is a highly skilled English and Spanish-speaking physical therapist that comes to our clinic with experience in treating orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions.
Molly earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bayshore, NY. She has completed an acute care affiliation at a level one trauma center in Jamaica Hospital, Queens as well as three orthopedic affiliations with a manual focus.
Aside from the outpatient affiliations, Molly has received further training in manual techniques through continuing education courses such as Institute of Physical Arts and John Barnes Myofascial Release. She has also furthered her knowledge in different areas of the body with continuing education courses and mentorship, with special focus on the shoulder and jaw.
Molly’s experience competing as a powerlifter for five years has given her a unique perspective and understanding of how to help patients find their strength. To Molly, one of the most important roles of a therapist is to show patients that their bodies are much more capable than they believe. She finds it extremely inspiring to teach someone who does not feel that they are athletic or coordinated that they can, in fact, be strong. Along with her knowledge and experience in foundational weight lifting movements, Molly also has experience in pilates reformer work and enjoys incorporating both into her patients’ rehabilitation.
At Individual Physical Therapy, Molly looks forward to working one on one with patients to create a treatment plan specific to their needs to ensure a return to a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Seide Val Jeanty, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Seide Val Jeanty PT, DPT, is a knowledgeable Physical Therapist and believes in a healthy and well-rounded lifestyle. Seide holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from
Kean University, earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Seton Hall University and has experience in various rehabilitation settings. His career will be devoted to helping patients overcome injuries and physical limitations, empowering them to reclaim their strength and functionality. Seide wants to be known for his compassionate
demeanor, positive attitude and excellent communication skills at Individual Physical Therapy. He builds strong connections with his patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their healing journey.
Beyond his career as a physical therapist, Seide’s love for culinary arts sets him apart from the crowd. When he’s not in the clinic, you can find him exploring the world of flavors in his kitchen. Cooking has become more than a hobby for him; it’s a therapeutic experience that allows him to blend creativity and nourishment seamlessly. He believes that a well-balanced diet plays a vital role in the recovery process and overall well-being, and he enjoys sharing his healthy and delicious recipes with patients and colleagues alike.
Seide firmly believes in the importance of functional fitness and often incorporates calisthenics elements into his patients’ treatment plans.
